Default Gamethread: Cardinals @ Barves - 9/12/10

Top of the first, and Pujols just hit a homer to dead-center. 1-0 Cards.

I would be watching this game, but I'm blacked out due to ESPN having the rights to the game. The whole thing is stupid... because I get all of my TV over the internet. I thought I might try viewing the game through espn3.com, but that's a no go as well since ESPN sells its internet broadcast to "ISP affiliates" and won't show their broadcast to anyone who uses some other ISP.

Absurd beyond absurd. The cost of bandwidth is a joke.

So, nope, not getting to watch the game... this MLB.tv subscriber is out in the cold.

That's lame. Can you at least listen in on MLB.com Gameday Audio?

Yes, it's blacked out on MLB.TV, but it's on ESPN. I gather you don't have ESPN?

A 2-out double by Heyward, followed by a Prado single, puts the Braves on the board...2-1.

No, I don't have ESPN.

Yes, I could listen to the game, but I'm not interested in listening. I'm following on gamecast while playing a video game.

With two doubles in his first two ABs, Heyward continues to bolster his ROY candidacy. Kid is cash money right now.

Heyward went from likely but not guaranteed to make the team to best batter in 9 months, incredible.

McLouth put a charge into that ball, but it is caught at the wall by Rasmus.
