Default Burgers

I tried the Tony Stewart Smoky Cheddar Bacon XT today and I liked it. A little pricey and not as good as McDonald's or Hardee's angus burgers...the BK burger still satisfied my hunger. The lettuce and tomato were really fresh and tasty. I don't usually like that BK "charbroil" taste but it was good masked in between the cheddar sauce and bbq sauce on this sandwich.

Just wish I had a moon pie and RC to wash it all down.

That burger is almost identical to the Dick Cheney burger.

It's the featured sandwich at the snack bar at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

The Dick Cheney no onion, an order of onion rings, and a 22-oz. chocolate shake is $7.49 plus shipping.

The Tony Stewart commercials amuse me immensely.

Thanks for your review. I rarely eat fast food burgers but I do like the char-broil thing BK does -- I just usually can't eat more than a Whopper Jr if I also want fries and a drink, so I'm sure I wouldn't ever order one of these. (My go-to fast food burger is a Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger, no mayo.)

Do you get a complimentary angioplasty with that?

Yeah these are big. My wife would likely cut it into thirds and have lunch for three days.

The junior bacon cheese from Wendy's is a nice snack. Three are a meal.

I have never put mayo on a burger. That is a rebel thing. I'm a yankee. We put ketchup on ours up here. Although my wife still gets mayo on hers... She's from Sugar Hill.

You're thinking of The Vortex. You guys might enjoy reading through their menu - it's a fun spot, and the tots are to die for.

I hit the one in Little Five Points every time I go to Atlanta. Great place.

Loved the "Idiot Free Zone" section of their rules. Hilarious. I'll certainly make a point to check this place out next time I'm in town.

007, go to the one in Little Five, not the one in Midtown. It's worth the wait in line and definitely worth the "experience", overall. You'll love it.

When I lived in Atlanta (ages ago) the Vortex was just a little hole in the wall where us college kids hung out for good, cheap food. Sounds like it has expanded quite a bit.

served cold and to the core with lipitor

When you order the burger, you can have the choice of either the cow being accidently shot, or just having it tortured to death.
