OK, I'm gonna pull a Rap here - Hopkins' trailer was parked outside my office building when they did the sequel to Silence of the Lambs, and I saw him a number of times while they did some of the filming here in Richmond. Although I never made an effort to meet him, he apparently was extremely friendly to all who approached him and even gave tours of his trailer. Although Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorites, I never actually saw the sequel - from the reviews, it seemed absurdly violent, and I was also bummed that Jodie Foster wasn't in it.
