Today I have started thinking about how much the Braves are relying upon star prospect Jason Heyward. Let us take a look at the Braves team from management perspective. With the Braves indicating they're done with major offseasons acquisitions analysis of the 2010 team begins. The immediate response many fans have looks at the failure of Francoeur, Kelly Johnson, Jordan Schafer, Jo Jo Reyes, and concludes the team must be better. Might I point out the same conclusions were drawn the past few offseasons since the streak ended. There needs to be further analysis into what caused problems for the Braves.

For the last month I've been contemplating the Braves makeup and where the emphasis should be this offseason. The no-brainer answer is the Braves offense was horrible this season and something needs to be done there. While this is true, I'm a bit worried about Gonzalez and Soriano being free agents. To be quite blunt I believe Moylan was overused last season and will be lucky to last through half next season. This leaves Medlen as the closer, a scary though. My proposal consists of the Braves...

It's been a while since I've written anything with school, life's curveballs, and now intern life but I wanted to throw out a few things about this season. I know a lot of people have given up on this season as have I.
