Ummm I don't know lineups and stuff, but I DO Know that there's this feller named Strasberg pitching who is allegedly purty darn good.

All four Braves' batters hit the ball hard off Strasburg in the first inning and we have nothing to show for it. This just in: Melky is slow...he gets thrown out by 30 feet at home plate on a McCann base hit.

It did look like Cabrera was running in slow motion.

Hudson is matching him pitch for pitch. It would be nice to see Heyward in there but this is one heck of a good pitching matchup.
Makes me wish we could have lost a few more games back in 98.

5-0 Braves now, as they bat around in the seventh.

Good to see the Barves take this one. I got to see Julio Tehearan tonight...and boy, did he not have it at all.

Strasberg looked fine; better than fine, actually. But, his defense and bullpen, though, lacked quite a bit. The Nats D looked liked the Keystone Cops at times.
Plus, Hudson was mahvelllous.
A really fun game to watch--got to see a great, young talent, and got to watch his team lose....
