Here are some stats to consider, they're the splits for Prado this season.

I consider myself to be as big of Prado fan as practical. He's not going to be a superstar and I doubt he'll have an extremely long career in the majors. Taking a look at his stats he had a marvelous summer, getting hot when the Braves and KJ figured out he needed to heal from his injury.
Take a look at August and now into September. Those numbers aren't starting 2B quality, which leads me to the question, which is the real Prado, or is he somewhere in between? I'd have to say he's in between sightly towards the worse stats. This isn't the type of player to count on to be an everyday 2B for an entire season. Seeing he can play most anywhere one should value him as someone who can come in and solidly fill a hole instead of stinking up the joint like Norton, Tony Pena, Keith Lockhart, or your favorite bench bum would. Teams need players like this but not as starters. My rant is done.
