Same lineups as yesterday. Game is currently being delayed.

I'm actually off, at home, and able to pay attention and then it rains.

Damn you, Mother Nature!

Game on! :)

As Lauren said, game on. Prado reached via a walk, but number three hitter extraordinaire G-Money Anderson grounded into a twin killing.

Pretty bad call there at second base. Fukudome was safe, and you could tell it was obvious at live speed. Not sure how the umpire missed that one.

Solid frame from Konami. Fukudome works a walk, but a double play and a groundout and we're on to the second.

Well, the second goes by with little in terms of excitement. In the Braves half, Kotchman walked but that was it. Meanwhile, Konami set the Cubs down in order.

Ah, yes, the pitcher's dual. The only type of game the Braves can win.

McLouth smacks a grounder past Lee, who deflects it, and the Braves have a two-out rally for Pradolonco.

Success!

1-0 on a 0-1 base hit. Fox, who is a butcher in the field, allows Prado to advance via an error.

Brooks Conrad doesn't wear batting gloves. He's a badass.

Well, that was a waste. Team walks your pitcher with two outs to load the bases, you better make them pay.

But...alas...that is not the Braves way.

In fairness, McLouth really squared that ball up. He just hit it in the wrong spot.

McCann with a nice shot to RF, but not quite far enough. I love how Bradley got set up to catch that and then hurried his throw in to second in case Anderson ws tagging up. Ha.

Kevin "Cy Young" Hart is being removed for a pinch hitter here in the fifth.

Krotchy hits the steroids and homers. w00t, 2-0.

Braves threatening to score a *gasp* third run here. Conrad doubles with one out.

...and Sean Marshall (local boy) puts out the fire. When Sean Marshall's brother threw out the ceremonial pitch on opening day of our local little league a few years ago, he threw it about 20 feet over the poor catcher's head. I think Sean got the pitching talent in the family.

That was rude. fuku homeers off his fellow countryman. 2-1 Braves. And The Riot follows up with a hit. Time for KK to come out.

Unless there's a quick double play and an infield pop-up, in which case it's ok if he stays in.

Better score some runs. It is highly unlikely to beat a team 2-1 on consecutive days.

Escobar just made another great play on defense. A week ago, I thought it was only a matter of time before Escobar was traded. I'm not so sure right now. Bobby has been saying positive things about his play, and his defense is tremendous.

And we're going to the ninth with a lead. We've only lost two games when leading after the seventh inning, but it'd still be nice to get a run or two here.

Braves win!

That's the first road series win for the Braves since early May.

I get home and turned it on just in time to see Bobby shaking hands with his bench crew!! Good to finally win a road series!

Nice. They're regained some momentum after losing it in Washington. Now let's keep it going against the Rockies. It would be nice to take three of four going into the All Star break.

I was at the game today and enjoyed watching the Braves win. I had seats in a covered area so I did not get rained on. I feel bad for Mac he got robbed by the wind blowing in. He honestly should have had 2 HR's and 5 RBI's.

Oh my, anyone watching the Mets game David Murphy made the greatest play of the year and one of the best I've ever seen by an infielder. Mark Loretta hit a grounder that hit the first base bag then the ball skipped backward and toward the second base direction and Murphy grabbed the ball and throw it blindly behind his back to the pitch to get the out at first.
