Family near me has plans...which don't involve me:thumbsdown:, and friends out of town or otherwise engaged. So I plan on pigging out, getting drunk, and possibly blow some stuff up.:cheers:

I slept in, went to the pool and the local pizza joint with some friends, and might be going to a cookout tonight. I'm not feeling like a charred burger, so since I saw fireworks on Thursday night (GO BRAVES, WAY TO SWEEP), I may just stay in tonight and clean up around here. :)

It's been raining here all day and shows no sign of letting up. Doesn't look like we're going to be getting any fireworks tonight. Hopefully, they can get them in tomorrow.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Independence Day, and I'm sorry for those who had to make eight. Be thankful you have a job anyway! Many do not.
I spent a pretty good day with family and friends, although I'm still feeling dizzy effects from the latest steroid treatment for my arthritis. Missed three days of work this week and didn't enjoy it!

Mine turned out pretty well. We had our niece for the weekend and took her to the Magic House, swimming, and back to our place for a BBQ for more of the family. It rained on and off all day and finally stopped so we could go see fireworks. 5 minutes into them, it down poured. We were soaked by the time they ended. Definitely a 4th of July to remember.
