Meh. Perfect games seem to happen almost every year now... with multiple happening in any given season.
He should try to exceed our expectations some... and see if he can keep it to 27 plate appearances on say... fewer than 90 pitches. Then I might concede that he's kind of good. :rolleyes:

Perfect games, yes...maybe every year.
Multiple in one season? It happened in 2010 with Halladay and someone I can't remember...but the last time there were two perfectos in a season before that was 1880.

I was also considering that it had happened twice this year. It's so pedestrian now. These guys really need to strive to do this sort of thing in like 81 pitches before it really becomes a hyped up headline.
I mean, sheesh.
