I don't know enough to say if it is believable or not. Tell you the truth I thought this thread was going to be about Lil Kim the truly insane dictator of North Korea. It seems he ism looking to pick a fight with us which means he is crazy enough to put his country in jeopardy, IMO.

The fact that the word "journalist" is in there along "files charges" makes my give a dam meter drop down to zero. Whatever happened to journalists being"objective"?

It's just another example of activist journalism, right or wrong, it's not their place to get involved in such things!

I think the question is: how legitimit is the claim? Did they have live avian flu in their vaccine? If so, why? Also, assuming it's true, why are they now being given a contract to manufacture this vaccine?

But that's just me. I think the whole medical field is incredibly shady, and I continue to live my life having no dealings with them until I absolutely must.

I have heard several reports which indicate the strain of flu that started the new swine flu scare was developed in a lab by combining swine, avian and other strains, then someone "mistakenly" allowed some of it to get out. Apparently the strain out there is much more potent than the old type. That someone would willingly participate in such a thing suggests a William Castle type horror movie about a mad scientist. If it is something authored by our government or others in high positions, it should serve as a wake-up call to the masses. Of course, until it actually hits someone on a personal basis, they'll probably go on ignoring the possibilities. I don't want to believe in all those conspiracy theories but things like this and those unexplainable daily tic-tac-toe games the jets play in the morning sky make me wonder. What's with all the chem-trails? Is it part of "seeding" us for future health problems? It's worth considering.

Freddy, I ask a lot of similar questions... not in a conspiracy-theorist kind of way, but in the sort of way that makes one wonder... how far some will go in the pursuit of profit. It's a game of logic where ethics/morals don't always win even though they should.

We like to think that a major majority of people would care enough for their fellow man not to make decisions that would put his or her well being in jeopardy. However, history has shown that to not be the case [at all].

I agree he is nuts but I think he is just testing the new President and this happens no matter who becomes President. I think if America flexis its muscle Lil Kim will back down. I don't think he has a death wish like many of the crazy Muslim rulers do.

Not to mention that if he does anything to threaten relations between the uSA and China, the chinese will put a boot up his behind. If he did something really really stupid like launching a missile at us, the Chinese would either allow us to retaliate, or do it themselves. They don't want their american cash cow to dry up!

The biggest thing for the Chinese is that they want us off the peninsula. So long as there is a trash-talking North Korea threatening us and Seoul, we aren't going anywhere, which is not in the strategic interest of China.

The Chinese will not stand for a North Korean attack because the collapse of the North Korean regime would create a refugee nightmare for China, as well as open the door to a re-unified Korea under, at least, American influence and, more likely, American protection.

I was listening to a guy on the radio who was an expert on north korea (forgot his name) and he said what the US should do is help the Japenese develop Nuclear weapons b/c the Chinese would hate that and their fear of that would have them put pressure on north korea. really the US can't do anything to china since were are in debt to them.
