HANSON IS THROWING A NO HITTER!

(It's only the end of the first inning, but doing a lot better than KK was able to)

Chipper Jones has gone back to 2008 the last 2 games. He's the first one to get a hit. Prado and Heyward... not so much.

I'm listening to the radio and they said Resop was put on the DL today. Does anybody know who replaced him? I'm hoping it was Dunn.

I heard that it was Chavez that replaced Resop. Don't remember where I saw it though.

Braves up 3-0 Top of the 4th. Come on Tommy keep pitching well. Hopefully the offense can score some runs tonight. It looks like the weather may act up again.

I think Tommy had his softmore slump. It was three games or so. He's doing good tonight. He's gone 6 while giving up only 3 hits and 0 runs on 87 pitches. Atta boy Tommy! I love this kid.

Brandon Hicks? When'd he join the team? Whose job is he filling?

The Muts have won 6 in a row and they are 1/2 a game back yet I'm not all that concerned. They played a slumping Padres team and the almost worst team in baseball the Cleveland Indians. They are about to hit a wall against the Yankees and then the streaking Tigers followed by the Twins. Plus it's going to help that they're the Mets. Thinking about that organization and their struggles makes me giggle inside. They're like that cat that burns his whiskers on the stove but does it every day. After a while I quit feeling bad for those guys.

Tommy Hanson has been dominating the AL East teams. Quote from DOB:

After pitching seven scoreless innings in a 6-2 win over Tampe Wednesday night, Tommy Hanson moved to 4-0 with a 0.75 ERA in four starts in interleague play – all against the AL East. He’s allowed only two earned runs in 24 innings while beating the Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox and Rays. Three of those starts were scoreless – last June against the Yankees and Red Sox and Wednesady night against the Rays.

Holy crap, and I thought he was going to struggle through some control problems throughout the year. Glad he is finally breaking out of his little slump and finally being able to provide a more reliable arm in the bullpen.

This was my best photo from batting practice last night. :D Hopefully I can get the rest of the pics edited tonight, but I have a late meeting and will be home later than usual.
