This thread may not get much play, but we'll throw it out there anyway.

Anybody's team make the tournament? As an Arkansas fan, I'm excited to see the Razorbacks hosting a regional. They've got a pretty good team with a couple of projected high draft picks: Zack Cox-possible top 10 pick and metioned as the best pure-hitter in the draft, and Brett Eibner-possible top 30-35 pick.

It all kicks off today. Good luck to all!

My team is in (Georgia Tech) and hosting the Atlanta regional. We usually have a good baseball team.

Note to self: do not take the shortcut around Tech Parkway to get from Coke HQ to Northside Drive to head home today. :D Thanks for the heads up, Hobbes!

Changing the subject a little bit, I tried to watch the gals' NCAA softball tournament today (Georgia vs Florida) but the constant cheering from both dugouts drove me crazy... so much noise!

I saw some of the Arizona-Washington game and was bothered by the same thing. They never shut up!

The Wahoos are off to good start. They trounced VCU 15-4 to open up the regional, in Charlottesville and beat a stout Ole Miss squad 13-7 today. As some of you may know, we made it to Omaha last year. We've been ranked in the Top 5 in the country all year, and have actually spent a good time at #1. Our offense has picked up the pace from last year and is finally getting the extra base hits it's lacked in the past to go with solid pitching. I just hope our heads don't get to big, so that we can make it Omaha again. Brian O'"Connor is building a helluva program at UVa. We are going to have to pay this guy mega bucks to keep him.

Well the Razorbacks lost back to back games in the Super Regional to Arizona St. Both games went 12 innings. Disappointing ending to a season of high expectations.
