On the All-Prospect Lineup, Jason Heyward is batting third and playing left for Baseball America's Jim Callis.
On where the newly acquired Arodys Vizcaino's placement in their top prospects.
Vizcaino would rank No. 3 on an updated Braves list, between first baseman Freddie Freeman and Teheran. Vizcaino is a rare Yankees prospect who hasn't been overhyped, mainly because he hasn't reached full-season ball yet. He dominated older hitters as an 18-year-old in the short-season New York-Penn League last summer, showing a 90-94 mph fastball and a nasty curveball. He can be a frontline starter if he can improve his changeup and command.
Teheran has a little more polish than Vizcaino, but his mechanics and durablility are more worrisome, so I give Vizcaino a slim edge. Delgado has similar velocity to Vizcaino, but his curveball and command aren't as good.
One last Braves tidbit...Andy Marte made the All-Bust team. He was ranked the 9th best prospect in baseball in 2005.

I love having Delgado, Teheran and Vizcaino in our system. It's exciting. With Jurrjens and Hanson already in the majors, and Minor set to be ready by the 2011 season(one would hope), it's nice to have these guys that we can envision in our rotation in the future.
Of course they may all turn into busts, but we've got three young studs. You gotta think one of them will turn out alright.

Yep, I could invision a rotation in the future of Jurrjens Hanson,Hudson Minor and Teheran on the last year of hudsons deal and we might be ready to replace Hudson with Viscaino that next year! Pitching we got, bats.....if Freeman pays off and Schafer can rebound, we ain't looking to bad there either! Man do we need a young 3rd baseman though.

I agree with that. We have NOBODY in our system at all I would want there. We had a good amount of young pitching... that's why I was so excited to think about the trade with the Brewers for a Gamel and/or Lawrie.
The Reds just signed Rolen to a long term contract and they have a few really good 3b in their system. Perhaps we could work something out there. They have a 3b version of Adam Dunn that's ready right now actually.

I hope by Adam Dunn you mean is big and dumb and hits HR's!! and not that he's big and dumb and hits HR's and plays defense with a mitten on!

Slayer made a post a while back about how difficult it is to find a third baseman that's even close to the level of Chipper Jones. I never would have guessed that third base would be such a difficult position to fill, but ever since he made that post I've thought about how lucky we are to have had Chipper all these years, and how much it's going to suck when he's gone.

Oh god yes, 3rd base has the lowest enrollment of any position in the HOF for a reason! I mean heck, It's hard to even come up with enough 3rd baseman worth a crap in the history of the league to form a top ten of all time! ( I mean off the top of yer head, not by going to baseball reference!)
Mike Schmidt
Chipper Jones
Eddie Mathews
Brooks Robinson
George Brett
and.....
what liek Pie Traynor? Ron Santo? I mean it's just a position starved of talent.

Baseball America believes the future starter in-house for 3B will be Mycal Jones, a fourth round choice from last year, though that is more about the lack of credible replacements because Jones is a SS, though he was defensively challenged last year so maybe that means he will be moved. He hit .258/.337/.430 in 64 games for Danville last year and should make his full-seasond debut in Rome this year. Good speed. Not sure how projectionable he is.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the same guy they chose as the fastest baserunner in our system.
