What's your new year's resolution?
Mine is to get back on track with the running thing. I used to always run every other day and I've not maintained it which has been bothering me. I'm in excellent shape still but everyone keeps trying to scare me saying that they randomly lost it around 30. I just turned 28 the other day so....
And my dog, although not fat, has lost some muscle mass and it's my fault. He's easily the best dog I've ever owned. He makes me smile every time I think about him so since he makes me happy why shouldn't I do the same for him right? He needs some chicken and rice and to start running with me. So this year will be a good year for him :) .....it's freakin freezing outside....i don't wannnnnna..... I think last years resolution was to keep what ever resolution I made this year so.

Haven't made one in years. They never stick. But then, I'm not a goal-oriented person. :D

I've been through it myself. I kept a log with excel for each company I sent a resume to and made sure to call each one of them and take notes on my conversations. It helps. Persistence is key.
Or you could just lie. Tell them you needed a break from traveling to the moon for NASA. It was far to taxing on your family and making you feel old.

Ha! Nice post, jlcct.
My resolution is to begin working out... starting tomorrow. I played high school and college sports and used to be in great shape, but it's faded over the past couple of years once I had to enter the real world and work a full-time job. I'm going to make myself a priority this year.

No resolutions for me, just going to continue working on becoming leaner, lighter, and healthier. I've lost 40 pounds and roughly two pants sizes since May, want to do almost that much again by May of this year.

I would also like to catch that god damn sock monster before years end.
Sock Monster [sok] [mon-ster]
-noun
1. That dirty son of a bitch who steals all your dirty socks.
2. Sock theif
3. Mythical creature said to be formed of unbalanced atoms creating an immense static charge. He is known to feed on other unbalanced atoms that are indigenous to the laundry room.

Great job, Scooter!
I'm down to 228 pounds now and I've started running recently. I want to run a 5K in the summer.
Also, since my weight robbed me of my ability to truly play competitive baseball in my teen years, I'm going to start training this Spring in order to try out for the club baseball team this fall here at Clemson.

I am way past the age of playing baseball anywhere I have to actually run. Played ball in school and played tournament softball for many years, but not in a long time.
