I really don't do any other braves websites or anything, but I am thinking about something..........

I notice that most of you get up-to-date braves information in minutes from when the news breaks. I am assuming that you get this through some type of tweeting thing.

Okay, since I really don't visit any other websites, what are some good sites that I can go to and set up a tweet notification? You know, just so that I can get information as it is in real time.

Now, if this is some kind of policy procedure thing where I shouldn't ask, well, of course, just negate my question and I'll whine and b1tch some, but I will follow protocol and not address it. If it isn't, then can someone let me know what they use?

It is called "browsing the internet" buddy but after a while you develop a liking for favorites. My news usually comes from Rotoworld which is very up to date. Also MLB Rumors sends me an update every day and that is good. Another thing I do pretty regularly is check the message boards at the pay sites where I play fantasy games. Used to called CDM and then it became Fanball.

I follow a lot of news sources on Twitter, and that's usually how I see the latest information. You can see the people I follow here (http://twitter.com/BravesLove/following), if you're interested. (Obviously, not all of those are Braves-related.)

I know people who seem to be constantly up to date on stuff because of the twitter thing, but I haven't gotten on board. As long as I know lots of twitterers, I figure I won't be more than 5 minutes behind in finding out stuff. The only "breaking news" thing I've signed up for is the CNN e-mail alert, but they keep sending really stupid stuff like "BREAKING NEWS: Michael Jackson's family squabbling over his shoes!!"

The comments section of the AJC Braves Beat Blog is where I get most of my news. You have to scroll past loads of ignorance and nonsense, but there are so many posters involved in that blog, nothing slips through the cracks. If it happens, someone will mention it there in less than 5 minutes. MLBTraderumors is fairly quick, too. I don't do Twitter.

I have enough keeping on the bleeding edge in my job that I am willing to let others get the scoop for me on these matters. Just don't have the time.
