I wanted to start this just to comment that the fantasy football Gods no longer smile upon me. Last year, my team that tends to go all Romo in December somehow came through and won it all for the first time in about a six year history in the league I play. Not only that, they went undefeated (though there was one tied game). Not only that, but I didn't know about the league until 30 minutes before it was set to go and joined up, drafting my team with without preparing.

But this year, things aren't looking up. The first week isn't complete and I have a good chance with Wes Welker and Lee Evans going tonight to come away wih a win to increase my undefeated streak, but I've lost McNabb, Urlacher, and Polamalu.

Yikes.

I have difficulty believing you don't win it all with that lineup. Good luck.

I started 0-3 after going undefeated last year, but won the next nine weeks on my way to overtaking the number one spot in both win-loss and points, but after losing to an inactive team (Farve killed me) and likely falling to the number four seed this week, I'll be 9-5 and the number two seed.

After drafting McNabb, I picked up Farve hoping for lightning in the bottle twice. Last year, Farve helped me win the title by throwing for five touchdowns and allowing me to sell high to get Greg Jennings. This year, he's helping me with his big season, though he did kill me last week. My WR situation has been up-and-down. Wes Welker's early injuries hurt and Dwayne Bowe's suspension and general ineffectiviness also hurt, but I've been getting by with Sims-Walker, Chambers, and Meachem. My RB's are solid when healthy. De'Angelo Williams and Ray Rice are my primary starters with Hightower in support. I dropped Carlson finally last week, picking up Fred Davis, who promptly scored me a pair of TD's.

We play with defensive players, but I have struggled with consistency there.

Because of big games by Goldson and Dansby, I was able to come from behind (he had Bolden and Rolle, a combined two points) and was even able to score just enough points (one point lead) to end the season with the most points and the number one seed. I will have a rematch against the team I just beat.

Yay...another week of Drew Brees...

I lost big. I left a load of points on the bench which could have played a massive role. Playing for third place.
