Prado's RBI double has the game tied at 1. Hudson is pitching very well and is through 6.

Same story, different day... great starting pitching, no hitting.

This game had a completely different story.
Greg Norton played in the field, albeit very briefly.

The Braves picked a great time to go on a 5-game losing streak.

Another disappointing loss. Horrible time of year for the offense to shut down. The better be on their game Friday. I'm going with too many Cardinals fans for them to be embarrassed like this weekend.

The Braves were sure consistent during my fishing trip. It's tough to win with Anderson as your #3 hitter among other things. Next year will be interesting and I wish KJ the best wherever he ends up, and I will applaud him when he has a .385 OBP and 20 HR.

So what your saying is, you think he'll end up in Rome?

I'm quite confident that a healthy KJ will do extremely well given a chance. He obviously wasn't healthy to start this season, nor has his ability to hit LHP been utilized for the past two seasons. It drove me crazy this wasn't going to happen in Atlanta for a long time, but I've gotten past it and will hope Prado can make the step from ultra utility player to everyday starter. I've really liked Prado for a long time, even when most were down on him last season, but have seen his longterm role as a fill-in for a million positions and that hasn't changed. KJ to me is an above average 2B who will become a tough player to face. TP and BC won't let it happen in Atlanta so it's time for him to go somewhere that will use him properly. I'm not going to pretend to be happy about it.
