So, here we go again. Can the Braves stop this losing streak and try one of those win things the kids are all talking about. Jair on the mound so you know that means the Braves offense definitely won't score.

Hit a homer, Jair. You are our only hope.

Top of the second and so far so good for the kid from that little island the Netherlands claims. Braves found a way to screw up a pair of leadoff walks Kip Wells.

Yes, Kip Wells is in the major leagues. You hear that, Mark Redman? If Kip Wells can find a team, surely you can.

It will go down as a bottom of the second single by Garrett Anderson, but it was so much more.

It was an eight-pitch at-bat. Even without a win, that's productive for this offense.

The Braves got really drunk and went to a strip joint...ya know, like in Varsity Blues.

Because otherwise, having Kip Wells strike out the side against you as part of four scoreless innings would be cause for ritual suicide.

Ah, yes, as expected, it's a pitcher's dual between Jair Jurrjens and Kip Wells.

Well, it was until Joey Votto homered.

Now, it's Cy Wells with a 2-0 lead. Wells' win-loss record, if he wins as seems likely, will improve to a career record of 66-97.

Cy Wells has been eliminated.

The Braves have a chance!

And it's all up to Reid Gorecki...no...Gregory Norton...

I'm not sure who I'd rather have kill my hopes and dreams.

Norton walks!

The tying run is on.

You better win for hurting my WHIP, Braves.

Or just take strike three, McLouth.

Anyone see Chipper on ESPN's Game Day show yesterday? Like many of us, it looks like he more focused on football than baseball these days.
