Looks like Samurai Ken is being moved to the bullpen. Also, Buddy Carlyle is back up with the club and Manny Acosta has been returned to Gwinnett.

I assume Kawa will be rested and ready to go if Hudson goes Hampton on Monday which is good to see.

Well, damn. That puts Hudson due to pitch next Saturday (the game I will be attending) which would be excellent news considering he is my daughter's and wife's favorite player. But of course, now a gigantic rain storm is headed toward Georgia and threatening to rain out tonight's game and set him back another night. :banghead: Might have to "settle" for J.J.

From that article: Cox said the Braves have thought about using a six-man rotation. Some variation of that might be how this ultimately plays out.
How does that mean KK is moving to the bullpen? From this and another source I read, it sounds more to me like they're letting KK skip this start and then moving to a six-man rotation.

Can we send him to the pound instead?

A radio broadcast listener raised interesting questions during the rain delay about Huddy's return on Monday. Will someone be sent out to make a spot for him? If so, who? If someone goes, will they have to stay gone for 10 days? Shouldn't they just wait and bring Huddy up on Tuesday the 1st, when rosters expand?

But then Hudson wouldn't be eligible to play in the postseason, although that's looking to be less of an issue.

I see 5 options....
1.Activate Nate Tuesday instead of Tomorrow and use Reid's spot for Huddy
2.Send Buddy down if he has options
3.DFA Norton and bring him back after roster's expand
4.DL KK because of Shoulder fatigue
5.Option Kelly or Logan and bring them back up when eligible...
the 1st option is a little less likely with Adam having the sore hip probally...

Methinks (yes, I'm bringing it back) that Nate's season is pretty much shot. He's got the type of injuries that are only going to heal with rest. I don't expect much productivity from him for the rest of the season.

Hudson's return pushed back a day to prevent the need for a roster move.
And I believe he is still available for the alleged postseason. I think it was DOB that posted all players on the DL are post-season eligible.
