Braves up 4-0 in the fourth inning. In the first, Infante (playing left field for Ganderson) homered on a 2-1 fastball from Volstad. KJ, at second for Prado, walked and stole second. A soft single had KJ roar around third, but hold up to keep from being thrown out at the plate. LaRoche, trying to make up for his dumb-dumb move yesterday, was able to advance to second. All that hustle meant nip because Esco hit a three-run homer.

Ryan Church is also out and as is Brian McCann, which is likely a planned day off. Pitching is Tommy Hanson and he allowed his first baserunner in the fourth with a four pitch walk, but that's it. He has faced the minimum.

Hanson's no-hit bid ends with two outs in the fifth. Baker walked and Hermida singled. Runners on first-and-second for Wes Helms.

Sigh. 4-1 on a Helms double.

Hanson struggling to finish an inning. A sudden case of Chuck Jamesitis has set in.

and it's a one run ball game ... 4-3.

Chuck James-itis is right. He just started getting touched up and leaving pitches up a little.

Okay Volstead's out and Tommy's still in, though Sanches mowed us down 3 in a row.

Sigh, wasted opportunity. Chipper walked and actually stole a base. MattE also walked, but with two outs, and Ross couldn't do enough to add to the score.

To the seventh!

Reid Gorecki opens the bottom of the seventh with a single and Bobby goes to the bench...which is basically reduced to a guy who hits like a pitcher and pitchers. Javy bunts Gorecki along.

Well, bases loaded, two outs, and the Roach Kid is up.
