I'm actually liking Church more than McLouth these days.

GA with a nice homer, now tied 1-1... Well done. I'm liking this line-up, and will like it that much more once we get Nate back.
What have you guys heard about GA in the clubhouse?

LaRoche with a HR. The Braves are getting some good cuts against Stammen this inning.

LaRoche with his 2nd bomb of the night off of no other than Jorge "Homerun" Sosa.
Awesome... That was the go ahead run as well.

Roachy with his second big fly of the game, this one off of old Jorge Sosa of JoSoWO fame. Glad we brought Adam back. 3-2 Braves.

Me too.... LaRoche is playing his ass off.

He definitely poses more of a power threat than Kotchman.

Just got in to watch Moylan work into some trouble and then get out of it. Would be nice to see some runs.

There's one! Prado with another long ball! What the hell? When's the last time we saw the Braves hit four home runs in a game?

We've had 4 solo shots, GA, Rochyx2, and Prado... Braves lead 4-2

Come on Diaz! DOn't be that rally killer you keep proving yourself to be!

And now we're down to former-Major-Leaguer Greg Norton.

Norton is so much more valuable when he doesn't swing.

That was one of the craziest catches I've ever seen. Holy s-h-i-t.

Shades of Javy, McCann. Awesome way to end it.

McCann picks off Morgan at first to end the game! Great ending! Five in a row!

Way to end the game BMac!
Going on a cabin trip with some friends so I won't be able to be around until Sunday afternoon, unless there is an internet connection at this cabin, which I'm not banking on.
Go Braves!

What have you guys heard about GA in the clubhouse?
Earlier in the season, it was said that he only talked to / hung out with Krotchman. He seems much more at ease now and we see him smiling and talking to guys in the dugout more often. However, I've gone to 15 games so far this year, and I've gone early to BP for 14 of those. When Garret is in the outfield during BP, the only person I remember seeing him talk with is Matt Diaz. Of course, MattE's friends with everyone, but it's a little odd that while the rest of the guys are playing pitcher-catcher or sharing blow pops or juggling water bottles, Garret doesn't really participate or hang out with the others. I wonder if it would be different if we had another non-Hispanic African-American on the team? TP doesn't really count, since he's a coach. :/

I watched the first 3 innings at home last night before going out to dinner and just got done watching the condensed game on MLB.com. Great game. Lots of excellent defensive plays too. I love that the Braves turned 3 double plays (I think that's how many I counted) and the Gonzalez catch coming at his face was crazy!!!
5 in a row! Let's keep it going against the Phillies this weekend!

Stinks that we can't seem to pick up any ground on the wildcard or division no matter how many games we win. It's like we're still stuck in a rut. This weekend is huge no matter how you look at it.

i think the important thing is, we put the cubs and marlins, somewhat, in our rearview mirror....that is, if we take 2 of 3 from the phils!
you are right, this weekend is huge
(edit: didn't realize the marlins were a 1/2 game ahead of us, but in my mind, we will be ahead of them for good soon)
