Yay, Church is back. Good to see him get back into the frey. Even though Diaz homered yesterday, he has seemed to be fairly miserable of late.

/seemed = too lazy to look up the numbers.

Before the homer, I remember Joe saying MattE was 2-for-22. :(

Technical difficulties on SportSouth -- for those on MLB.tv? Better?

Oh! Normal again!

Braves make it 2-0!

I just love that Church works the count. So few Braves seem capable, nor willing, to do that and it's why great offenses are great.

Nice job by Prado...battled and battled and got a pitch he could send to the outfield to make it 3-0. Now, Chipper, a two-run bomb wouldn't hurt.

Way to keep the inning going...now, a two out hit from Mr. McCann would be nice. Gaudin already with 54 pitches.

Crap. We loaded the bases!

Wait...that's supposed to be a good thing, right?

David Ross would have hit two Grand Slams on one pitch. And balanced the deficit as he ran around the bases.

But a two-run double ain't too awful.

Church is on for a third time, clearing the pitcher in the fifth.

Hanson's hit a wall. Two run job and a base hit.

Nevermind, double play ends the frame. To the seventh, Braves up 6-2. Hanson's only at 72 pitches.

As I made this week's work schedule, I saw the Braves had an early game today... which means I scheduled myself to work an early shift so I would be home in time to watch the majority of the game. It's worked out well. I love seeing the boys play well.

I want to see this tattoo-looking ginormous bruise that's supposedly taking up Greg Norton's entire lower leg.

In my head, it's like Mall Cop and it's covered by a Hello Kitty bandaid.
