EDIT: well it looks like they traded LHP prospect Scott Barnes and a PTBNL for Garko... depending on whom the ptbnl is, sounds like a good deal

Sigh, that eliminates both Indians off the "Dreamscape would trade for X" list. Betancourt to the Rockies, Garko to the Giants. How sad that they have to go to the other Wild Card contenders. That said, I'm not sure the Braves would have matched this offer. Barnes alone has been outstanding.

The Braves have a developing problem with their prospects. The top tier is great (Heyward, Freeman, Schafer), but there is a gap between those players and the second tier that is pretty big. If Cole Rohrbough would start to reach his potential, he could give them a big trading piece. Kris Medlen probably still has questions about his sudden rise. Some of the young arms need to develop rapidly.
