Keep winning series Braves. A win today would be another series won. Let's go Bravos!

Yunel gets picked off and that costs us a run.

Bottom of the second, we're up 1-0. Lowe struck out Braun and Fielder to end the first. After getting ahead of Hardy 0-2, he'd filled the count 3-2.

Hardy hit if off of Lowe, KJ grabbed it for the out, and Hardy looks like the one that got hurt on the play. Weird. 1 out.

Just made it home to watch the game.

Is this just a regular day off for Chipper or was there an injury I didn't hear about?

So far, so good.

A long ball from Kotchman to make it 5-0 would be nice.

I swear, I finished typing that about a half a second before he hit the ball. 5-0 Braves!!!

Kelly got on with a walk, stole second, and got to third on a passed ball. Get him in Nate.

Dang. He almost beat it out.

That was awesome! Love the big lead!

Top of the 8th and the Braves have expanded their lead to 7-2. Jody Gerut just missed a line drive off the bat of Prado with the Bases Loaded.

Yunie up one out bases loaded.

Bases loaded walks are always nice when they don't happen to our pitching staff. :)

8-2 Braves going into the bottom of the 8th.

KJ making the case for being called back up.

The Braves offense just keeps on chugging.

Kelly is back, we need to keep him on the field.

Prado has been having games like this for a month, and he can field his position. KJ is still having too much trouble at 2B.

So put KJ in the outfield.

Play the hot hand, that is what worked for us when Kelly was slumping and Prado was tearing it up. If you can't see that Kelly is ready to go on one if his tears then you just have a flat out bias opinion.

Braves win!

This one was a must-win. The team looks like it has thoughts of moving into contention for a playoff spot.

As long as the Braves win, I have no problems. Betty Boop and Sugar Shane Mosley could play for all I care, as long as we win.

I think things are just finally clicking. And while I don't think we'll win the division, the Wild Card is certainly attainable.

True, but there are several teams competing for the Wild Care, so I think it's still a long shot for us to win that.

This next stretch could very well determine our fate in the Wild Card race. 7 of our next 13 are against the Dodgers. We also have 3 against the Marlins in that stretch.

Nice to see the Braves continue this act of winning series after series. If the offense continues to score for this staff, they will win quite a few of these series and that's all that really matters.

It's still too early to look at the playoff hunt. 63 games left. The biggest number right now is the +1. As in, the Braves gain a game on .500 this series. Right now, the Braves have to be the scariest team in the Wild Card race. No team can match the starting depth the Braves have.

Oh...and go KJ!

I think that right now the best thing for the Braves to do is set their sights on the Phillies and chasing them down. The Phillies just came off an unbelievable hot streak that's definitely not going to last. In fact, huge win streaks often have a tendency to fade into losing streaks. The Braves just need to play good ball, keep winning series, and let it all sort out from there.

I'd settle for the wild card... only after giving Phillies fans a huge scare. ;)

You're right, luv. 3 of 4 with three extra base hits, a walk, and a stolen base is horrible.

Even I didn't hate on the French Prince when he actually had a good game.
