Hey guys I am going to Atlanta on a vacation in late August. I am going to the game on the 26th. I was wanting to know if The best deal would be the all you can eat seats (beer), or go with the 2 for one ticket deal. The 2 for one is about 22 dollars, and the all you can eat is about 140. I am not sure of the price of beer and food. Any suggestions? I can drink a lot of beer. Thanks for the help.

I've sat in the AYCE/beer seats with a group from work, but I'd never recommend those. My co-workers said the beer is "watered down", and I can testify that you can't see squat from those seats. They're on the third deck, in the left field corner (in the actual corner - you face the RF corner if you sit straight in your seat). You can't see balls & strikes and the big screen is not as clear.

If you're not concerned about seeing the game or the quality of your beverages, choose the AYCE/beer seats. Otherwise, I'd go for the cheap seats and pad your budget for beverages. For actual hydration purposes, you can bring in as many non-alcoholic, sealed plastic bottles of beverages you want. I always bring at least one water bottle and a soda to the games. You can bring any kind of food in as well, as long as it's in a soft container (plastic baggie, bag of chips, fast food, etc.). Soft-sided coolers are allowed inside as well, as long as they're within certain dimensions (it has to fit under your stadium seat, basically).

Here are my pictures from the game in that section. (I was turned towards home plate and not sitting straight in my seat.)

Has anyone here used StubHub (http://www.stubhub.com/atlanta-braves-tickets/) to purchase their tickets?

So as far as a view is concerned what seats are better. Should I go for the outfield, behind the plate, or elsewhere? I want the best seats I can get for a good price.

I know people who've used them and had no complaints. When we looked for tickets a few years ago, we found better deals on ebay.

I used them for the first time recently. I've always found better deals on eBay in the past for Braves-Phillies games, but once the Phillies won the WS all the yahoos on eBay were jacking up their prices.

No issues at all with StubHub, just not a particularly good deal on the price.

Seems like a personal preference thing to me. I always feel a little too far out of it when I sit in the outfield area. I'd rather be along the basepaths, even if it's pretty far up. If you're taking a once in a blue moon type of trip, I'd splurge and get a seat close to the field that comes with the waiter service.

Just used StubHub for the first time. Got three tickets to Friday night's game in Section 333 for $40. Typically those tickets would run about $30 bucks a piece.

For those unfamiliar with the seating at the Ted, Section 333 is in the Golden Moon Casino Level, middle deck, in the outfield, 1st base side. I can't say the seats themselves were amazing, as we were a long way from the action, but they weren't terrible either and we got a good look at McCann's homer that Failcoeur almost caught.

Having been to 20+ games I've sat just about everywhere there is to sit. My personal favorites would have to be field level along one of the base lines, but obviously those cost more than any others. Even the upper deck seats are ok and personally, I like to buy one of those and then watch the game from one of the standing areas in the lowest concourse.

I like being behind the dugouts or homeplate, no matter how far back. I almost feel like I'm outside the game when I'm in outfield, even in the front row. And I'm with Lauren, those AYCE seats are terrible. (That area is WORSE at Camden and faces farther away from home)

That said, if I can get aisle seats or shade on a hot day or something intangible like that, it also makes my day. I'm easy to please, since Atlanta is 8 1/2 hours away. ANY seat at the Ted is a good seat.

Have fun down there!

I always try to sit between the outer edges of the dugouts, behind home plate, even if that means upper deck. Actually, I like sections 408 and 410 the best for hot games. You're usually in the shade, the wind whips around pretty well up there, you can see into the dugout, and it's not very crowded.

I just bought tickets for a September game in Section 121L-Field Level. It's a little ways down the line, but it's the best I could do to keep 5 seats together. Plus it will be my first trip to Turner Field so I wasn't going to try and be too picky about it. Can't wait!

I have it narrowed down to the dugout or field level. Is there any reason to pick one over the other? The view seems pretty good in both spots.

Dugout is a significantly better view than field level, unless you want to be looking at the left or right fielder all night.

I've used StubHub to buy and sell tickets. It's a good service and reliable as well. Once you pay for the tickets, they pretty much guarantee the authenticity of the sale. And you can always find better seats than the stupid ticketmaster and their bullcrap "best available" option.

I use StubHub for 90% of the tickets I buy. They are great and if you check with them frequently, you can catch some great deals.

I waited until 2 days before the Rays came to St. Louis to buy tickets and found some behind home plate in the third level for only $2 each. My friends and I bought up 8 tickets that way.

I wondered about that. The only time I've seriously shopped for MLB tickets online was a few years ago when I was planning a trip to Atl with my son. At the time, the prices on Stubhub were much higher than what I got off of Ebay. If I catch a game in DC, it will more likely be a last minute thing, and maybe I can score tickets at a much lower price on Stubhub.

The Braves have a series in DC the last weekend in September. If the Braves are still in the hunt, I'll find some way to get there for at least a game. I have a feeling many Nationals fans will be glad to get whatever they can for their tickets at that point.

Well I used StubHub to get the tix. I got 2 in section 106L. Ticket master would not deliver to Canada. I have to say StubHub was much easier then the MLB site.

Now I'm gettin excited can't wait till I go!
