Damn no McLouth again. It's one thing to trot that lineup out and win against JoeBlow Blanton, it's another thing to face Cole Hamels.

seems that way, doesn't it?
i will say this, and i know this might be relative braves hyperbole, but last night's win reminded me of 1991-1992.

It feels that way about Escobar, but I would love to see him in the lineup. Has Cox forgotten that he leads us in several offensive categories? If we're not trading him soon, I see no reason to sit him on the bench. You have to use the talent you have to give your team the best chance to win! Escobar has several brain lapses in the field, but his talent can not be denied. Sorry for the rant... I guess I'm just frustrated with mediocre at bats by many members of the team.

How is it that C.B. Buckner still has a job umpiring in the MLB?

I don't know who here is able to watch the game, but JJ seems to be working with a pretty good change up tonight.

He is pitching very well. Other than the walk, he's been dead on.

Good range shown by Diaz on that fly to left

(not so) bold prediction: Cox gets ejected in the 7th for arguing over balls and strikes.

It's a stat that amazingly shows two things at once. That the offensive is sorry, and Prado is playing out of his mind right now.

Great half of an inning for the Braves! And JJ finally gets to pitch with a lead.
I am really enjoying seeing Hamels (and Rollins) struggle. Is it just me?

JJ's error and a sac fly makes the score 3-1 Braves going into the bottom of the 4th.
JJ's giving up more fly balls than I would like, but doing a great job, especially considering he's throwing a you know what so far. ;)

A rare offensive onslaught as Diaz adds a 2 run HR, we seem to have the Phillies number this year:)

Yay Braves!
Now, remember how it feels to play the way you have been the last two days, and bring that intensity to your next match up against the Pirates!

Yes, of course. I forgot about the Nats. Let's see them win this series for argentina and for those of us with MASN.

Have fun. I'm jealous - we still haven't made it up to NatsTown. We were talking about going up this Sunday, but I think we're heading down to Va Beach instead.

Well these past two games have been great for those of us who get the Phillies broadcasts (although I'm probably the only one here).

Congrats, Hernandez! 9-1 BRAVES!!!
I like how Diory handled the obligatory "silent treatment" upon entering the dugout after his home run. While everybody sat on the bench with blank looks on their faces, DH started high-fiving the air in the corner of the dugout by himself. And who the first one to break the silence and rush Diory with congratulations and a big cheesey smile on his face? Yunel Escobar.
