Hey folks. As many of you know, I'm also a member over on the Sons of Sam Horn board. This year we are holding our second annual Auction to Benefit Mass ALS (http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?showforum=129)and the powers that be said I could pimp it on here.
Last year we raised of $65,000. We're hoping to raise more this year. Naturally, a lot of the auction items are Red Soxcentric, but there are also quite a few items that will appeal to fans of baseball and some other pretty cool stuff. We are also selling a cookbook that has some pretty cool recipes in it by the board members, including a couple from Shonda Schilling, and some good essays by a few of the members.
Items include a weekennd in Vegas package, original artwork, a great portrait package, a tour of the NCIS set, tickets to a taping of Conan, a gift certificate to New York Prime here in Atlanta along with a round of golf for two at Chateau Elan. (http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?showtopic=45616)
If you want to go to a baseball fantasy camp, there is an item to attend a Red Sox one and even an item that puts you on the field at Fenway to play baseball.
The items are previewed on the page I linked to upthread.
The auction runs from July 6-19. Any and all support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Charity auction - very cool. But why as a Braves' fan would I want stuff from the BlowSox?

(BTW, Shonda must be a great cook - explains why Schilling was so puffy looking)

If only there were items on there that didn't have anything to do with the Red Sox.
