I bet we score more than 6 tonight. Just a gut feeling. Maybe 8.

Unfortunately, Micah Owings will hit two Grand Slams to make up for all the runs he gives up.

Thats what I was thinking when making my prediction. The lineup will hit tonight, hopefully more than the opposing pitcher!

I hope the offense can give Vasquez some run support tonight. The offense really let him down the last time he pitched well.

Let's trade for owings and put him in RF.

And Owings gets one of those homers. Only a 3-run shot though, not a grand slam.

I bet he would hit 30 if he played in the field everyday

Nate just doesn't have a happy face on the field. He seems perfectly personable in interviews (very "I'm looking forward to helping the team"), but on the field, it's not an "I'm concentrating hard" look, either. Hmm.

He still looks downright fanatical compared to GAnderson.
Nate's probably pissed that he's on a team worse than Pittsburgh.

GA is the most expressionless guy I've ever seen play (if you really call what he does as playing.....strolls around in the OF........once he finally gets to the ball he lobs it back in on 6 bounces........pitcher has already thrown 2 pitches before he realizes he's actually the batter.......I doubt he works up a sweat....)

Awww God...this is unbearable. It's been soooo hard to watch this team since the Tex trade last year. It's like watching beige paint dry on a cinderblock wall.

There isn't even a single player to get excited about, with the exception of Hanson. Chipper and McCann are good, solid players, but hardly exciting to watch. Same goes for McLouth.
Often a cellar-dwelling team has some promising young players you can root for as they show flashes of future potential. But we don't even have that to watch for.

The Braves look like a team that's lost in the wilderness. I don't know if Cox and Pendleton are the problems, but they certainly haven't been the solutions. I think we're a franchise that's desperately in need of change. I just don't know if you can break this loser's mentality we've developed without a new staff and new ideas.

We could increase next years budget by 30 million and, with any kind of luck, be out of it by the end of May???? This will kill any hope we have a lot sooner. It's better to break your heart early instead of breaking it later.
My prediction of off season moves:
1) Sign Bobby Cox to a long term contract
2) Move Francoeur to left field, so as to fix the left field problem
3) Move Anderson to right field, so as to fix the right field problem
4) Try to resign Glavine
5) Trade for Texiera
Hey, the 2005 Astros were 15-under .500 and they went to the World Series.
Who knows what can happen!!!~~~!11

I am still holding a candle out for:
6). Sign Brian Jordan to a minor league deal and let him battle for the LF spot (Keith Lockhart cant be far behind)

Everyone in Atlanta should boycott the Braves. No Turner Field trips, no jersey purchases, nothing.
Wait. What's that? Oh we already do that? Shieeeeet.

Vazquez is averaging 6.58 innings/start and doing a really good job of eating up innings as usual. I insist he's really underrated considering how much wear and tear he saves a bullpen while putting up nice numbers and giving his team a chance to win when he pitches and when someone else does.

For the record I had the Braves at two runs tonight and they went out and scored 3. How about that, this team exceeded my epectations.

I would have voted in the "How many runs" poll, but "not enough" wasn't one of the options. :(

We should trade Lowe as opposed to Vasquez.
Give Jurjjens the arbitrary 1 spot.

Wait... So how many outs did we have with runners in scoring position? I remember seeing guys at third with less than two outs on more than one occasion and we couldn't knock them in.
This is a frustrating season to be a Braves fan.... Wait, this is the fourth consecutive frustrating season to be a Braves fan.

I would love to trade Lowe personally but he's 36, Vazquez is 32. Lowe has three years left on his contract at $15 million per season, Vazquez has one at $11.5 million. The Braves got Vazquez by trading a solid package of prospects for him. Lowe was acquired by the Braves paying more money than anyone else was willing to for him. Is someone now willing to pay him the money the Braves were based on the few months of baseball since then? I doubt it and I wouldn't either. I suppose it could happen but I doubt it. That could be a good thing or bad thing, we don't know for sure yet.
