Sweet start to the game and the series! Heyward now has 7 homeruns and it's still April.

Those 7 homers kind of snuck up, didn't they? It doesn't feel like he hit that many.

Cool that the game is on the MLB Network.

It really doesn't. Could be that there weren't a lot of people on base for them. Looking at his game log, at least four of them were solo shots. I don't remember specifically how many runners were on base for all of them, but there are four games where he's got a homerun and 1 RBI.

It seems like almost every home run the Braves have hit have either been solo or 3-run homers.

Hudson looks to be done for the night after throwing 99 pitches. He's rubbing his right buttcheck  like he pulled a muscle.

Tied 2-2 after 6.

Nice hustle Prado, even though a good throw nails you.

McLouth with a homer!

Atlanta's 28 homer of the season, 21 of which have been solo.

Perfect throw by McCann there to gun down Rasmus.

Doh! Cardinals tie it up on a sac fly that both McLouth and Prado try to catch.

Gonzo with a great play to save the go-ahead run.

Kimbrel's fastball didn't have good velocity on it tonight(well, for him anyways.). Only hit in the 94-95 mph range.

Nate gives it a ride but Holliday catches up to it.

Braves lose.

I'm willing to bet Bobby Cox would have been thrown out of the game on that called strike on Freddy.:)

Most definitely. Not only was it an obvious ball, but the huge delay in making the call almost got Uggla thrown out.
