This tradition started a few years ago. My dad and I, both of which live in Texas, went to Atlanta for a 3 game weekend series against the Mets. We were swept.

Great Park though.

Last year we went to Philly. Fans were nicer than expected. They overuse cheez wiz. And the Braves dropped 2 of 3.

When they came to play the Rangers last year I grabbed tickets to all games, and again we lost 2 out of 3. So over the past three years, when I'm in attendance, we've gone 2-7. Maybe I'm not the best luck. Or maybe we just suck.

Anyways, wrapping up here, this year we have chosen Boston. I will land on Friday and be at Fenway that night, saturday night, and Sunday.

If you see a guy wearing a dark blue Braves cap and a Frenchy shirt....that's me :p

Projected starters are as follows:

Kawakami Matsuzaka
Lowe Beckett
Jurjjens Wakefield

Any chance I get to see Smoltz make his debut considering how bad dice-k has been?

The Japan-American Society of Georgia and the Kenshin Kawakami Fan Club are co-planning for a Kawakami / Matsuzaka matchup on Friday, and have even scheduled a little get-together to watch the game at a local bar. A friend in the JASG sent me the flyer yesterday, and I just found a link (here (http://www.kawakamifanclub.com/drupal/node/16)). If I spoke Japanese, I'd totally go!

How fast do that Rosetta Stone stuff work?

Anyone from the area have any suggestions on what to do while not at the stadium? We have a few things we want to hit, but suggestions are welcome.

I've only been to Boston once, but I remember Legal Seafood being the best food I had while there. Yummers.

Where abouts is that? Our trips usually revolve around the stadium; although we use the public transportation.....(no rental cars)

It's been about 10 years since I was there for a conference -- we used public transportation as well. You may want to try this new thing called Google to find it. :p
