Hey guys -
Wanted to drop in and say I'm happy to be back with all of you and I look forward to plenty o' fun at this site!
On a personal note, many of you know I was vacationing last week. I talked with my boss on Tuesday of last week from the beach about some security business around the airport I visit daily. He informed me that the Gloomy Gus I had mentioned here was no longer "part of the team." When I asked about Joe, his response was "Joe who?" Joe refused to advance the procedures which would have given him security clearance for reasons only his tin foil hat wearing self knows, so he was terminated. The boss called me this evening to offer me Joe's old gig. As of tomorrow, I'm off the graveyard shift. I'm moving to a 6:30 - 3:30 evening/night shift complete with a company car. I won't have to fill in gaps in the airport service by working in the lab, either. Things are really looking good on the job! For all you folks struggling with job woes, keep your chin up and try prayer. Good things do happen! :D
